Something I learnt

Coitus = Sexual intercourse, especially between a man and a woman

Coitus interruptus = Sexual intercourse deliberately interrupted by withdrawal of the penis from the vagina prior to ejaculation.

Another word i always hear Sheldon and Wolowitz saying on The Big Bang Theory. Gotta love that show!

The Need

The constant need to feel loved

is breaking me.

The yearning to be held

is embarrasing.

The sadness in being alone

is frightening.

The happiness in a geniune kiss

is refreshing.

The amount of tears I’ve cried

is unbelievable.

The thoughts that go through my mind are

incomprehensible, unexplainable and unimaginable

By Me

Gil Bruvel - Visionary and Fine Art

I was researching (as i do) visionary art and i came across a man named Gil Bruvel. He is soo amazing and out of the box, unique which I love. He was born in Sydney but raised in France from 4 and took lessons in Sculpture from the age of 9 and began oil painting from the age of 12. His work mixes mythology, dichotomy, as well as part human, part animal and concious and unconscious.

His sculpture work is just breathtaking and his oil paintings are beautiful, the bright colours that he uses are right up my street because i love colour and his are so one of a kind and so different, he definitely inspires me to be creative, i have truly never seen anything like it, i love it when someone makes me stop and take notice. Anyway I’ve added some of his work and a link to his site.

CHECK HIM AND HIS WORK OUT!!

Maria Mena - Just Hold Me Maria Mena

I found Maria Mena a couple of years ago and fell in love with her, she is relatively unknown in the UK and probably to most of the world - upsetting. She is from Oslo, Norway and her music would probably come under the genre Pop & Folk. Her albums and singles are chilled, laid back but powerful, i always download her songs on any new electornic device that can take music. Her lyrics to me are just perfectly written to catch the right mood and tone - very relatable.

Something I learnt

If i dont know something it bugs me, i mean it LITERALLY bugs me i have to fin out what it means so my mind is at rest lol. If i dont know something i will research it there and then or i will put it in my pone and research it another time. The phrase i learnt today is Paradigm Shift.

Paradigm = A set of assumptions, concepts, values and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.

Paradigm Shift = A change from one way of thinking to another. It does not happen rather it is driven by agents of change.

I heard this on The Big Bang Theory ( a show i watch everyday BTW) I love this show because it is hilarious and knowledgeable at the same time - amazing.

Love this poem

thestoryofscars:

Let me split my heart in tiny pieces

And give it to every fuck that I end up loving

It might be a small piece, but it holds

More love than all the water in the sea

What they decide to do with it is their choice

Just like it was my silly choice to give them that piece

And now I am empty, and alone, and sad

I want my heart to be whole again

I want to be loved like the rest of them

My first edit on Photoshop

This is my first edit of a photo on Photoshop, i haven’t paid for the full thing this is just done by using the basic free tools you get on the internet. The picture grabbed my eye because it kind of has a love lost, but content feeling to it. The original is in colour the black and white one is mine. I darkened and lightened certain areas on the picture and i added a swirl to the end of the road, kind of making the road seem longer and curious. I know it isn’t amazing to some people but i like what i did :)

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

I would love to go to Thailand because the scenery is absolutely beautiful to me! The colours and culture that they have are so oriental and different to what i am used to seeing, so i can really appreciate the beauty.

The second place i have always wanted to visit is Brazil. Brazil is renown as being exotic full of beautiful people, beaches and amazing carnivals and that is what attracts me to it, even the name sounds inviting to me lool.
